The Story

When a young woman inherits her late great-aunt's isolated lakefront lodge, she expects dust, grief, and time to mourn in peace.

What she finds is a house full of journals, preserved corpses, and whispers that the water itself is alive and watching her.

The lodge's brooding caretaker warns her to leave. But something in the lake calls to her, pulling her deeper into her family's history, and toward a man whose loyalty to the past might cost her everything.

As memories unravel and obsession grows, she begins to dream of the drowned. She sees her face reflected in theirs. And some nights, she wakes soaked and cold, with lake water in her lungs.

Love doesn't always save you. Sometimes, it keeps you under.
